The PW6243 barrier washer provides the ideal cleaning solution for establishments that deal with items that may be infected or contaminated. Perfect for launderettes, hospitals, as well as retirement and care homes, this hygienic washer, with both clean and unclean sides integrates a number of features to help you rest assured clothes are washed to only the highest standards.
With an expansive 240 litre drum capacity, the PW6243 can process large numbers of soiled items, and with Miele’s patented honeycomb drum, clothes are not only given an industry standard clean, but are protected during the cycle. By creating a thin film of water, items are cushioned during the wash process, preventing fibre damage or pilling. To ensure items are given the deepest clean, this barrier washer uses both thermal and –chemo thermal disinfection programs, as well as holding items at precise temperatures throughout the cycle.
To help guarantee a smooth process, the machine automatically positions the drum so unloading is simple and adheres to all safety regulations, and thanks to the large ergonomic door, loading and unloading even large items is easy.
Like all Miele barrier washers, the PW6243 also integrates Profitronic M controls, which give you and your operators complete control and customization over the cleaning cycle. Thanks to the Profitronic M controls, operators can access a number of pre-defined cleaning programs, as well as customize up to 199 program slots, for complete control. With ease of use in mind, these controls are simple to use, and the display screen tells you exactly how long your cycle has left, allowing you to juggle busy workloads efficiently.
